Theodore William Moody

Theodore William Moody (1907-1984) was an Irish historian. He was Professor of Modern History at Trinity College, Dublin, from 1940 to 1977, when he became professor emeritus[1].

In the 1930s he

...resolved to initiate a 'scientific' historiographical revolution that would give historians the power to dissolve the popular myths that kept the different communities of Ireland divided.[2]
