Theodore Edward Dowling (1838-1920), was an Anglican Bishop of Jerusalem and historian, who have been studying the ancient oriental churches and made numerous scholarly publications of books regarding the church history of Armenia, Antioch, Jerusalem Patriarchate and Georgia.
