Theodore Douglas Robinson

Theodore "Teddy" Douglas Robinson (April 29, 1883 - April 10, 1934) was an American politician and member of the Roosevelt family.

He was born in New York City to Corinne Roosevelt Robinson, sister of U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt. He was Assistant Secretary of the Navy from 1924 to 1929.[1] A resident of Herkimer County, he was a New York State Assemblyman and later a State Senator; he was chairman of the Progressive Party of New York.[2][3] He married Helen Roosevelt, daughter of James "Rosy" Roosevelt, Jr., brother of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
