Theo-Dem (Teodem) is a christian-democratic faction with the Italian Democratic Party, which combines strongly social-conservative views on ethical issues with a Christian leftist approach on economic issues.
It is composed by 4 deputies (Luigi Bobba, Patrizia Binetti, Enzo Carra and Marco Calgaro) and 2 senators (Emanuela Baio Dossi and Dorina Bianchi). Founded as a faction within Democracy is Freedom – Daisy, they decided to join the Democratic Party, after some initial criticism.
In the 2006–2008 legislature Bobba, Binetti and Baio Dossi often held the balance in Italian Senate for the centre-left.
