Thelemic gematria refers to a method of numerology within the practices of Thelema. It also refers to the English Qabalah.

The call for a new system of gemetria arose from within The Book of the Law.

"Thou shalt obtain the order & value of the English Alphabet; thou shalt find new symbols to attribute them unto. " (Liber AL, II: 55)

This riddle refers to a passage inside of the Book of the Law.

"4 6 3 8 A B K 2 4 A L G M O R 3 Y X 24 89 R P S T O V A L. What meaneth this, o prophet? Thou knowest not; nor shalt thou know ever. There cometh one to follow thee: he shall expound it." (Liber AL, II: 76)

Many attempts have been made to deciphering this riddle.

Many interpretaions of the English Qabalah exist, and claim to have answerd some of the many questions surrounding the inquiry into its study.

Frater Achad is the pen name of Charles Stansfeld Jones and claims to be the magical son of Aleister Crowley. He believes he has answerd the riddles of Thelema[citation needed].
