Theater (Metro Rail)

Theater Station serves the Entertainment and Theater Districts of Downtown Buffalo, New York. The station is located on Main Street between Chippawa Street and Tupper Street, in the Buffalo Place Transit Mall. This area has been closed to street traffic since 1982).

This is the last station in the Metro "Free-Fare Zone" and anyone who is riding the rail after this station is required to have a ticket, transfer from a bus or the Metro Pass. Violators caught by roving ticket inspectors are issued a ticket or summons, similar to a traffic ticket.
