[edit] Trivia

  • The Young in Heart was Janet Gaynor's final leading role before electing to leave films while at her height.
  • Both Laurette Taylor and Maude Adams were considered for the part of Miss Fortune. Both probably made tests (Laurette Taylor's exists) -- the only examples of sound film by either of these famous Broadway stage actresses.
  • This was also Paulette Goddard's first credited role after Charles Chaplin's Modern Times.
  • The film features Rust Heinz's futuristic car, the Phantom Corsair.
