The Works is an Indian rock band that started in 2007. They have been referred to as "one of the fastest rising young bands in India".[1][2]

Performing since August 2007, they have played numerous shows across Mumbai and have also played at venues like IT-BHU, Varanasi and NIFT, Mumbai. They also perform on a regular basis at the Hard Rock Cafe in Mumbai.

Playing both, originals and covers, they are known to perform cover versions from repertoire of ACDC, Aerosmith, the Beatles, Deep Purple, Def Leppard, The Doors, the Eagles, Elvis Presley, Guns 'n Roses, Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Metallica, Bob Seger, Motorhead, Pink Floyd, Queen, Buddy Guy and ZZ Top. Most of their originals are influenced by classic rock and '60s-'70s blues-rock.

They have become the youngest Indian band to be officially supported by Gibson Guitars. The band was being supported and looked at by Gibson since November 2007 but their support became official on 15th April, 2008 when The Works signed an exclusive artist agreement with the guitar giant.
Shannon, 18 years of age and Partho, 19 years of age are two of the youngest guitarists being supported by Gibson in India. Shannon signed the agreement just two days after his 18th birthday.
