'The Wire Tapes, Volume One is a tour-only album released by Dashboard Confessional in 2007.
The album is a collection of cover songs, sold only during Chris Carraba's solo acoustic tour during fall 2007. The album precedes The Shade of Poison Trees, which was released on October 2nd on Vagrant Records. Both albums were leaked on the internet in late September of that year.

- The end of "Theme From Flood" is changed. The original lyrics were "It's a brand new record/From 1990/They Might Be Giant's brand new album flood". However, Carrabba changed the lyrics to "It's a brand new record/of songs we've covered/We hope you like it, here is volume one".
