The Windows of Heaven is a 1963 film about LDS Church President Lorenzo Snow. The film follows the leader as he tries to resolve the churches mounting debt and the struggles of the Mormon settlers suffering through drought.[1] The title of the movie is a reference to the Old Testament scripture Malachi 3:10:
- Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.[2]
