The Wheel of Time is a studio album by Sandra, released in 2002. The album debuted at # 8 on the German Album Charts, its peak position.
The album spawned three singles; "Forever", "Such a Shame" and "I Close My Eyes".
The album was produced by Michael Cretu and Jens Gad.

- "Such a Shame" is a cover of a hit single by 80s British band Talk Talk; their original version reached # 2 in the German charts the same year Sandra released her "Japan ist weit" single. Her next single, "Maria Magdalena", would take her to # 1 a year later.
- The vocal to "I Close My Eyes" was reportedly recorded in one take.
- "Free love" is a cover of Depeche Mode's "Freelove" which was a 2001 single from their album "Exciter" .
