The Western Investor is a Canadian indie pop band from Vancouver, British Columbia, signed to the indie label Sci Con Records. The foursome have also performed as Feisty and The Mean Reds. The band members are Heidi Ernest, Drew Pirie, Rob Walter and Gareth Eaves. Ernest and Eaves are a married couple.
Their single "If You Wanna Go" from This Beautiful Town has been on frequent rotation at CBC Radio 3, and reached number one on The R3-30 chart for the week ending April 26, 2007.[1]
Feisty's "Big Life" appeared on the 2000 PlayStation game NHL Rock the Rink.[2] They also made appearances on the Rogers Cable television show Daytime and had two songs featured in the film Better Than Chocolate.[3]
