The Warsaw Demo represents the first recordings by Joy Division in 1977.

The tape has never been released independently but all of the songs were released on the Warsaw album of 1994. "The Kill" only shares a title with the song of the same name on Still. The songs give an insight into Joy Division's early days. The recordings are very punk-rock in nature but the lyrics hold the distinctive Curtis touch.
