The Von Ghouls are an American band. They were the first musical group to feature in an online animated cartoon series, in November 1999. Based around a band of creepy garage punk musicians in a camper van, with a reverent 70s Saturday morning feel,^{[citation needed]} the series was originally produced for an IPO-hopeful web portal company, and was the first internet cartoon to include original songs.^{[citation needed]} After delivering two episodes, the parent company became insolvent and the episodes reverted to the artist, who has offered them online for free ever since on the band homepage.

In 2000, a live band of the same name was formed, performing original garage punk material around the greater New York City area. In 2006, with a reformed line up, the Von Ghouls, also spelled "Vonghouls" released a four song vinyl-only EP on Zodiac Records.
