The Village Green is a Portland, Oregon indie rock band, composed of lead vocalist/guitarist/composer J. Nicholas Allard and drummer/producer/back-up vocalist Jeremy Sherrer.
They have released an EP, The Village Green, in 2005 and a full-length album, Feeling the Fall, which was released in the United States on August 29, 2006.
They have been compared to their influences, including The Kinks, The Beatles and others.[1]
They also have a bass and a guitar player as part of their live band. They have recently played at Bumbershoot International Music and Arts Festival in Seattle, Washington; and also local venues around Seattle and Portland.
