The Very Best of Kenny Rogers was an album issued by Reprise Records in the United Kingdom in 1990 by Country music singer Kenny Rogers.

For the most part of the album, it features re-recordings of songs Rogers originally had hits with in previous years, some radio stations now play these versions as opposed to the original hit recordings. The songs "What I Did for Love" and "Love Is Strange" are the original versions from Rogers studio album, entitled "Love Is Strange" that was released by Reprise shortly before this collection. The recording of Islands in the Stream is the original 1983 hit recording licensed from RCA records.

The new versions of Rogers' hit singles on this album (which were produced by Jim Ed Norman and Eric Prestidge) were later used to form another compilation in the United States called 20 Great Years. Despite the heavy amount of Kenny Rogers hits albums on the market that feature the original versions of his work, this album continues to sell and has never been deleted.
