The Very Best of Donovan: The Early Years is a compilation album from Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan. It was released on July 23, 2002 (Sanctuary 81184).

After releasing all of Donovan's 1965 Pye Records recordings on the two disc Summer Day Reflection Songs, Sanctuary Records issued a one disc version featuring the best known songs. In addition, Sanctuary secured the right to release the compilation with two of Donovan's Epic Records songs, "Sunshine Superman" and "Mellow Yellow".
