The Veritas School is a private school in Jackson, Mississippi (USA). The current Interim Headmaster of Veritas is Tim Meeks.[1]

Conceived in 1994 and officially established in 1998, Veritas is a non-denominational private Christian school serving the greater Jackson area. The campus consists of 30,000 square feet of buildings located at the former Colonial Heights Baptist Church building on Old Canton Road in Jackson. Education levels consist of grades one through twelve.[2]
[edit] Accreditation and Affiliation
Veritas is accredited by the Mississippi Private School Association. Veritas is also a member school in the Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).[3]

The mascot of Veritas is the Lions. The school colors are green and white. [4].
Veritas participates in football, softball, soccer, basketball, track and cross country.
Football games are currently played at Smith Wills Stadium, in Jackson, because the school does not have a field of its own.
