The Vatican Mixtape Vol. 1
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Vatican Vol.1 is a mixtape from Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon, released in 2006. Comprised of both old and new material, the tape is Raekwon's latest release since his album The Lex Diamond Story released in 2003. The erroneously credited beat for "Baggage Handlers" is a loop taken from an interlude found after the song "Nag Champa", a track from rapper Common's album Like Water for Chocolate. Contrary to popular belief the beat was not produced by J Dilla, who produced the song before it, but by ?uestlove, ironically as an homage to Wu-Tang Clan producer RZA's production (particularly the title song from GZA's Liquid Swords).
