Mullins that revolves around Tranas, a vampire hunter, his companion Sigmon, a 'good' vampire known as a 'Soul-Embracer', Sky, a pianist caught up in a terrible feud, Dyne, a three-hundred year old vampiress, and Dunford, her errand-boy.
