The Typewriter Tape

On 25 June 1964 Janis Joplin and future Jefferson Airplane guitar player Jorma Kaukonen recorded a number of blues standards, further accompanied by Margareta Kaukonen on typewriter (as percussion instrument). The Recordings were made in Jorma's house, San Francisco, CA. The tracks were later released as the bootleg album "The Typewriter Tape".
