The Trout Inn
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Trout Inn (often simply referred to as The Trout) is a well-known historic public house in Lower Wolvercote north of Oxford, close to Godstow Bridge. It is directly on the River Thames and is especially popular on sunny days in the summer months when it is possible to imbibe outside by the river.
The pub featured in Colin Dexter's Inspector Morse, which was written and filmed in and around Oxford. For example, "The Wolvercote Tongue".
