• 20 March 1989 - Robert Buchanan (55) and Harry Breen (51), both Protestant members of the Royal Ulster Constabulary, were shot dead by the Provisional Irish Republican Army, while travelling in Buchanan's car, near Jonesborough[1]. See also Smithwick Tribunal
