- 21 September 1972 - Thomas Bullock (53), an off duty member of the Ulster Defence Regiment, and his civilian wife, Emily Bullock (50), both Protestants, were shot and killed by the Provisional Irish Republican Army at their home at Aghalane, near Derrylin.
