The Town Pants is a Celtic Rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.[1] Formed from the remnants of The Van Demons by brothers Dave Keogh[2] and Duane Keogh[3]. The bands live debut, "Liverdance" was released in 1997. Aaron Chapman[4], a founding member of the Celtic Punk band The Real McKenzies, joined after the recording of their 2001 release of their second CD "Piston Baroque" which was produced by Hugh McMillan of Spirit of the West, and Virginia Schwartz joined shortly after in the fall of 2000[5]. Their third CD "Weight of Words" was released in 2006. Their fourth CD "Coming Home", a live CD recorded as the bands 10th anniversary, was released in late 2007. The Town Pants have toured extensively through Canada, the United States and in Europe. Individually, the band members have also appeared on recordings by the Be Good Tanyas, Bocephus King, Fiddlehaus, The Show Business Giants, and Marnie Grey.
