The Talking Band

The Talking Band is an experimental theatre company based in New York City. It was founded in 1974 by Paul Zimet, Ellen Maddow, and Tina Shepard, all formerly of The Open Theater. Zimet is the company's artistic director. One of the most recent shows was "The Necklace", an eight episode play written in collaboration with four writers. The show starred Tina Shepard and the up and coming star Ian Holloway.
