The Tales of Beatrix Potter is a 1971 film, directed by Reginald Mills, adapted to screen from Beatrix Potter's children stories with animal characters. It featured dancers from the Royal Ballet dancing in animal costumes to the musical arrangements of John Lanchbery performed by the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House.

The film was nominated for Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design at the British Academy Film Awards.
