The Straw Hat (Russian: Соломенная шляпка, translit. Solomennaya shlyapka) is a 1974 Soviet musical comedy film directed by Leonid Kvinikhidze based on a play by Eugene Labiche. Music composed by Isaak Shwartz. Runtime - 127 min.

Charming rentier lived widely and thought nothing of consequences. But he ran on tick and was forced to end his single man life and marry for money on a daughter of a rich earl. All goes well until a horse ate the straw hat and the marriage was combined with the man searching for the new hat.
