The Stinger

The Stinger is the student newspaper for the University of Wisconsin-Superior. It began as "The Peptomist," until the University voted to change the name to the "Promethean." The name was changed again at the start of the 2007-2008 academic year. The new name for the student newspaper is, "The Stinger." The Stinger also changed from the traditional broad-sheet format to tabloid format.
