The Stiff Kitten is a bar and club in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The club is known for bringing big name DJs to Belfast, such as Erol Alkan, Carl Cox and Dave Clarke. It is owned and promoted by Alan Simms, founder of Shine, a successful club still running at the Queen's University Student's Union in Belfast, and Timmy Stewart, another Belfast DJ.[1] The club takes its name from Joy Division's original name.
The Stiff Kitten also hosts popular alternative nights Revolver (Tuesdays), Sketchy (Thursdays) and FAD (Fridays). The FAD night started on October 5, 2007 with a set from New Young Pony Club.[2]
