The Sticks supported Eric Burdon and the Animals during their visit to Melbourne in 2007. They have also performed several of their own concerts in 2006 and 2007. During 2007 The Sticks supported Eskimo Joe (Melbourne leg of their 'Beating Like A Drum Tour'), Little Birdy and Dallas Krane.

In 2006 The Sticks released their debut E.P. through Red Red Records and Remote Control Records.
The Sticks featured in Fashion Journal Magazine, in the lead up to the release, and have also been tied to fashion labels Flux and Mjolk.
In 2006 Coca Cola approached The Sticks to be involved with a new music concept to be associated with Apple's iTunes music store.
In 2006 The Sticks' single 'Do' featured in a fashion parade during Melbourne Fashion Week.
