The Statler Brothers Show

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Statler Brothers Show was an hour American variety show hosted by the country music group The Statler Brothers broadcast on The Nashville Network.

The show ran for seven seasons beginning in 1991 and was the most popular show on the The Nashville Network during its entire run until 1998[1], including the single-most highest rated episode in the history of The Nashville Network.[2]

Each program featured a segment called "Yesteryear" where one year would be remembered by performing songs released in the featured year between brief summaries of memorable events. Following the series run, Yesteryear was developed into a full-length program.
