The St. Michael's School is one of the most prestigious schools in Barbados. It is located on Martindales Road in the parish of [[Saint Michael, Barbados].The school has a population over 800 pupils. Some of the school's famous alumni include the Late Dame Nita Barrow and parliamentarian Elizabeth Thompson.
The school was founded by the St. Michael's Vestry and officially opened on May 7, 1928. The school is celebrating its 79th anniversary this year. The school has the best Under-16 basketball team in the island, winning the championship in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006. The school is ranked third in the island after the 2006 and 2007 CXC and CAPE exams in which the number of pass marks were past 90% following Harrison College and Queen's College with 95% and 92% resepctively .
The school's motto is "Nisi Auxilio Del Nihil", Latin for "Nothing without help from God".
