The Spiders (Japanese band)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Spiders were a Japanese band in the Group Sounds era who were one of the top three bands of that genre, a cultural pop music scene unique to Japan.

Band members were Hiroshi "Monsieur" Kamayatsu, Jun Inouye, Masaaki Sakai, Sho Tanabe, Takayuki Inouye, and Katsuo Ono. They had many hit singles, made feature films and were wildly popular in the late 1960s and early 70s in Japan. All of the band members are still active in the music industry.
