The Sound Factory (bar)

The Sound Factory Bar , was a nightclub located at 21 West 21st Street in New York City. Promoted primarily by Barbara Tucker, who was also a recording artist for the now defunct Strictly Rhythm Records, the club featured DJs Little Louie Vega and Junior Vasquez, and was one of the most influential venues for house music in New York during the 1990s.

The club closed on January 12th 1995, as a result of lease disputes and federal drug indictments of its owner and several employees.
