The Solvents Theatre Company is a group involved in contemporary performance. In their work they often combine various elements of different art forms, bringing together Active Imagination, traditional theatre, butoh, milk, eggs, and fish. The Solvents are currently based in Dartington, UK.

The Solvents believe that complexities can be resolved by dissolving them. Their performances and actions often take the form of a popular event, something that people are used to (such as a workshop, or a talk show, or street theatre), which then gets infused with unexpected content.
