The Sleeping Lady

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sleeping Lady (sometimes called The Sleeping Maiden) is a nickname for two mountains in the western United States, Mount Tamalpais, near San Francisco, California, and Mount Susitna, near Anchorage, Alaska. In both cases, the nickname is associated with an apocryphal Native American legend of "The Sleeping Lady".
