[edit] Plot
When Taylor, who has a crush on Ryan, learns that he can't sleep, she tries to seduce him with her own therapeutic plan.
Meanwhile at Brown, Summer and Che take their activism to a new level by freeing rabbits from the science labs. It turns out that the rabbits were only studied for their interaction. When they have to talk to the dean's board, Summer doesn't lie about the rabbits. But when they ask her about who helped her, she doesn't tell them. When Che talks to the board, he blames all his illegal political activities on Summer. He tells her that she's going to be punished anyway after she admitted the rescue of the rabbits, and he's just too important to the protest movement at Brown.
Kaitlin and Julie battle for Kaitlin's tennis instructor Spencer. Kaitlin sees him and Julie making out. She wants to take revenge on Julie and brings him to a party, where Julie has a date with an oil tycoon from Texas, Gordon Bullit, to save her dating service. When it turns out that Spencer is Bullit's son, Julie tells Kaitlin that she only wanted to convince "The Bullit" of investing into the dating service and Kaitlin spoiled it. Kaitlin talks to him and he agrees to invest.
When none of Taylor's plans work, she turns to Kaitlin for help with Ryan. At the party, Ryan tells Seth that he would never date Taylor, she hears it and runs away. She visits Seth afterwards to give him tea for Ryan's insomnia. Seth tells her that he never would have thought that Taylor gave up. She realises that she has to try again, and brings Ryan the tea herself. Taylor told Ryan to kiss her to see if he would feel anything, Ryan agrees. Ryan was speechless after the kiss so Taylor assumed that he didn't feel anything. She says, "I'm sorry," and leaves. When Taylor left the room Ryan said, "Whoa," and was able to sleep without the help of the tea.

- The song, "Float On," performed by Goldspot is a cover, originally by Modest Mouse. The cover is featured on Music from the OC: Mix 6.
- The parking lot that Ryan and Taylor have a fight in is the exact same place where Seth and her had a very similar fight in The Anger Management.
