The Skinny Years...Before We Got Fat is a compilation by the punk band, Strung Out released by Fat Wreck Chords. The album is a compilation of songs recorded by Strung Out before Jordan and Jake joined the band. "...Before We Got Fat" refers to music recorded/produced prior to joining up with Fat Wreck Chords. The album was released on November 10, 1998 to show the progress of the band from its origins.
