The Sixth Form College, Solihull

The Sixth Form College, Solihull is a college for students who want to further their education after the minimum school leaving age of 16. It is situated on the outskirts of Solihull, West Midlands, England. It was founded in 1974 and consists of several large buildings on a single site just outside the town of Solihull in the West Midlands. It describes itself as "A college where students strive to achieve academic distinction and personal growth", offering courses in all major areas. The College offers 42 different subjects at A Level, as well as some vocational courses at both Level2 and Level 3 and more recently the International Baccalaureate Diploma. The College is also leading on delivering the IT Diploma. There are excellent examination results at the College, with a 100% pass rate in 30 advanced level subjects and 474 students getting all higher grades. More than 850 students progress to university each year, [1] including several to Oxbridge[2]. In the last 5 years, 67 students have progressed to Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
