The Simpsons Movie: The Music is a soundtrack album for the 2007 film The Simpsons Movie. It was released on July 24, 2007, by Adrenaline Music, with a limited edition version to be released on July 31, 2007. It was composed by Hans Zimmer, who composed for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End at the same time. He told The Hollywood Reporter that he liked "using all his creative juices at once."[1] In addition to their appearance in the film, Green Day recorded their version of the "The Simpsons Theme",[2] and released it as a single. However, this song was not included on the album.

"Spider Pig" peaked at #24 in the UK Singles Chart, having risen eighty-three places from entry into the chart.[3] It has also reached #3 in the Irish Singles Chart, after debuting at #13.[4]
