The Sick-Leaves is an indie rock artist from South Africa.
The Sick-Leaves is songwriter/singer/guitarist and bassist E Jacobsz. After spending 2 years in London and learning his trade in the city he returned to South Africa in 2004 and started the Sick-Leaves. Writing for the first album, Tunnel Vision, commenced and it was recorded end of 2005 with legendary underground producer Matthew Fink and drummer Warrick Poultney.
The Sick-Leaves released their debut album, Tunnel Vision, in May 2006 on the Sheer Music label. The album was nominated in the "Best Alternative Album" category of the 2007 South African Music Awards and the "Best Album" category of the 2006 Blunt Awards.
Currently the Sick-Leaves is recording the second album, Stone the Crow, which is set for release in April 2008. Matthew Fink is once again on producer duties and Warrick Poultney on drums and percussion.
