The Shaolin Drunken Monk
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Shaolin Drunken Monk is a 1982 kung fu film.
The film is generally considered a flop due to below average acting.[citation needed] The main character, never learns kung fu from Shaolin or a monk, and the Drunken Kung Fu he does learn he uses rarely. The style of choreography is not the classic Liu seen in The 36th Chamber of Shaolin; it mirrors more the Yuen Woo Ping style which is more acrobatic utilizing circulating characters instead of linear movements found in most of Liu's classics. It was directed by Au Yeung Chun and Lau Ka-Liang and produced by Ocean Shores.
