The Shadow of the Tower was a Historical Drama miniseries that was broadcast on BBC2 in 1972. It was a prequel to the previous miniseries Six Wives of Henry VIII and Elizabeth R. Consisting of six dramas, it focused on the reign of Henry Tudor and the creation of the Tudor dynasty. Though it attempted to live up to its predecessors, it failed to garnish as much popularity. Nonetheless, it did boast a unique cast.
