The Seventh Dawn is a neo-folk musical project from Melbourne Australia featuring Susan McCarter, who formerly found success in Australia as a country music artist and winner of the 1996 Black Opal Songwriting competition, and Chris McCarter of the seminal darkwave band Ikon. The brother and sister duo created one album on the German Apollyon label entitled The Age to an End Shall Come in 2000.

Susan McCarter continues to perform live under The Seventh Dawn name with several guest musicians, while Chris McCarter is focusing on Ikon.
