The Sensations
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Sensations were an American doo wop group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The group formed in 1954 under the name The Cavaliers, soon after changing to The Sensations. The group scored a hit on the US R&B charts with the Atco Records single "Please Mr. Disc Jockey" in 1956.[1] In 1961, the group changed its lineup, and released the tune "Let Me In" on Argo Records the following year. It was their biggest success, peaking at #2 R&B and #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.[2]
