The Secret World of Terijian is a children's tale depicting the story of two children protecting their forest from industrial development.[1] It was originally a self-published in St Paul Minnesota zine and was later officially published by CrimethInc. NorthStar Collective in November 2007. An excerpt from the book previously ran in Rolling Thunder.[2] The book was printed primarily as a fundraiser for targets of the Green Scare.[3]

The story makes numerous references to monkeywrenching and both elves and the ELF. In the Government's Response to Daniel McGowan's Motion for Amended Judgment, the book is referenced by Kirk Engdall, United States Attorney for the District of Oregon stating that "[t]he story line of this children’s book romanticizes the criminal activities of the Earth Liberation Front and encourages children to become involved in similar criminal conduct…"[4]
