This is the second album from Cardiacs and was only produced on cassette (as with their earlier album releases).

It was produced with three different covers - a rubber stamped version, a black and white picture and a colour picture of Jim Smith. All versions are rare, with the 'stamped' cover being the rarest. It was only available through the fan club and at concerts.

[edit] Track listing

  2. "Gina Lollobrigida"
  3. "Hello Mr Sparrow"
  4. "It's Lovely Day"
  5. "A Wooden Fish on Wheels"
  6. "Nurses Whispering Verses"*
  7. "Is This The Life?"*

Tracks marked with an asterisk are lost, the original master having been damaged, and thus they didn't appear on the 1990 / 1995 reissues. Is This the Life?, A Little Man and a House and R.E.S. were re-recorded and appear on A Little Man and a House and the Whole World Window. Nurses Whispering Verses was re-recorded for Sing to God. To Go Off and Things was re-recorded for the Big Ship E.P.
