The Sculptress (1993) is a mystery novel by Minette Walters. It follows the life of Rosalind Leigh, a journalist, who is writing a book about Olive Martin, a convicted murderess who butchered her mother and sister. The novel won the 1994 Edgar Award for Best Novel and the 1994 Macavity Award. It was adapted, to much critical acclaim, for a television series by the BBC in 1996 starring Pauline Quirke.
