The Script are a three-piece Irish band from Dublin. They are currently based in London after signing to RCA Label Group imprint Phonogenic.

Mark and Danny are former producers who worked with Rodney Jerkins, the Neptunes, Teddy Reilly and Dallas Austin. They were based in the US, but moved back to Dublin where they recruited Glen for their new band.

Their debut single 'We Cry' received "Single of the Week" on BBC Radio 2, RTÉ 2FM, Today FM and by Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 1[1] and was Kevin Hughes' tune of the week on GCap Media's The One Network show "Music Control".

The band toured with Newton Faulkner and with English pop band, The Hoosiers across the UK until March 2008. The band will be supporting N*E*R*D on their forthcoming UK tour later this year, however in April and May 2008, the band will go on their very first UK headline tour.

Their first single 'We Cry' was released on iTunes on April 20th 2008. It was released in stores on April 25, 2008 (Ireland) and April 28, 2008 (UK).
